Julia and I take a question from a listener whose son has CF. She wants to know what Julia and I think about telling a potential employer about CF, and how to go about doing it.

There are a few ways to handle this, so we draw on a few past experiences when we have, and haven’t, told our employers about our CF. There are certainly pros and cons to each strategy, but at the end of the day people with CF are protected by the Americans with Disabilities Act, which is something I certainly rely on in a pinch.
